Yoga Vini — More Than a Training Program

Founded in Rishikesh in 2012 by Vini, Yoga Vini is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga and Ayurveda school offering RYT 200, 300 and 500 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Courses. Our aim is simple: to encourage people to seek peace and happiness within themselves, using the ancient tools of yoga and Ayurveda as discovered by Indian sages more than 5,000 years ago.

Our insightful and unique program is based on our belief in the importance of the spine — how it connects our outer and innermost being — making the ancient tools of asana, pranayama and meditation more connected and easier to understand.

Our Unique Approach

The Spine as the
Foundation of Life

What makes Yoga Vini different from any other school

“Only the knowledge which makes sense to us will become part of our practice.”
— Vini

Yoga Vini’s curriculum is built on a profound insight: the spine is the axis that connects your outermost physical body to your innermost being. By truly understanding the spine’s role, asana, pranayama and meditation stop being abstract exercises — and start making intuitive sense.

This is why students often say they felt more transformation in 26 days at Yoga Vini than in years of practice elsewhere. The approach is scientific, yet deeply rooted in tradition — and because it makes sense, it stays with you for life.

🦴 Spine-Based Asana

Every posture taught through the lens of spinal health and alignment — from pelvis to crown.

💨 Pranayama & Energy

Breathwork connected directly to the energetic spine — making the practice vivid and real.

🧠 Anatomy & Physiology

Deep understanding of the body, energy and mind — taught in a way that everyone can understand.

🌿 Ayurveda Integration

Daily Ayurvedic sattvic meals, lifestyle practices, and consultations with BAMS Ayurveda physicians.

📖 Yoga Philosophy

Philosophy classes that help you make better sense of life — not just theory on a whiteboard.

🎤 Confident Teaching

Structured teaching practice sessions so you leave truly ready to teach — not just certified.

“Before coming to Yoga Vini I saw myself as an experienced practitioner with 7 years of daily practice. I was so wrong. I never heard a yoga teacher talk about the importance of pelvis tilt. Painful realization — but absolutely worth it.”

FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything You Need to Know Before Applying

Do I need yoga experience to join the 200-hour TTC?

+

No previous yoga experience is required to join the 200-hour teacher training. The course is structured as Beginner to Intermediate — Vini’s spine-based approach builds your foundation systematically from the very first class. Many Yoga Vini graduates had very little yoga background before arriving. The 300-hour program is open only to Yoga Vini 200h graduates.

Is there support for Japanese speakers?

+

Yes — all programs are offered in English with Japanese language support. Yoga Vini has a strong Japan connection. Vini himself worked in Japan before founding the school, and the school has an official Japanese website (india.yogavinirishikesh.com) and Japanese coordinator. Numerous Japanese students have successfully completed the course. WhatsApp inquiries in Japanese are welcome.

What is included in the $1,450 fee?

+

The $1,450 fee for the 200-hour TTC is fully all-inclusive: ashram accommodation, 2 daily Ayurvedic meals + 2 snacks, all yoga and Ayurveda classes and workshops, and the Yoga Vini bag (2 uniforms, manual, notebook, neti pot + string, mala). Yoga Alliance certification fees are also included. Airport transfer is provided. You only need to budget for visa, flights, and personal spending.

What is the accommodation like?

+

Students stay in the Yoga Vini ashram in Tapovan, Rishikesh — a clean, peaceful environment surrounded by nature. The ashram is not luxury accommodation, but it is comfortable, well-maintained, and filled with an extraordinary community energy. Past students regularly describe ashram life as one of the deepest parts of the experience. Rooms are shared or private (please inquire for current options).

How do I use the certification back in my country?

+

Yoga Alliance’s RYT 200 and RYT 500 credentials are globally recognized standards for yoga teachers — accepted by studios, gyms, hotel spas, and wellness centers worldwide, including Japan. Completing the 200h course earns you RYT 200; completing both 200h + 300h earns RYT 500. Yoga Vini graduates have gone on to open studios, teach in Japan, Europe, Australia, and the Americas.

Is it safe to travel solo to Rishikesh?

+

Rishikesh is one of India’s safest and most welcoming cities for international visitors, and the majority of Yoga Vini students arrive solo. The ashram is a secure, supportive environment with on-site staff. The community of fellow students that forms during the course is consistently one of the highlights graduates mention. WhatsApp +91 78951 98304 for any pre-arrival questions.

How is Yoga Vini different from the many other schools in Rishikesh?

+

Several things make Yoga Vini genuinely distinct: (1) The unique spine-based curriculum developed by Vini — not a generic syllabus. (2) Small, intimate group sizes where every student gets personal attention. (3) Vini himself teaches the core classes — not junior teachers. (4) A genuine ashram lifestyle immersion, not just a hotel-based course. (5) Very strong Japanese community and support. (6) Graduates consistently say it’s more about life transformation than just certification.
